Pet Policy – Updated 2018

We, at Single Island Shores love our furry friends, having a number of them ourselves, and therefore, we understand that many guests would like to bring their four-legged companions with them. Still taking into account that many of our guests bring small children, we have decided to make a Small-Dog Breed exception to our policy. This exception is restricted to our Single-bedroom, LakeView cottages ONLY. Please Note: In consideration of others’ allergies, we still Do Not allow any cats.
For your small dog to stay with us, they must be 20 pounds or less, they must be at least 9 months old, they must be kept on a leash when outside the cottage, and make use of the designated dog area when nature calls. We Do Not Allow any Pit Bulls, Chows, Dobermans, or Rottweilers, regardless of size. Due to our stained, hardwood floors, we ask that your dog have freshly, trimmed nails prior to arriving. You must contact us directly, provide us with an up-to-date immunization record from your veterinarian, and receive prior approval for bringing a small dog.
As always, any and all service animals are welcome at our property. Proper paperwork is also required for service animals to stay at Single Island Shores. Whether it’s a trained service animal or small-dog breed, a refundable damage deposit of $100.00 is required prior to checking-in to your cottage.

Campfire/ Grill Usage

All campfires are restricted to the designated fire pit areas throughout the property.  Additional campfires outside of these fire pits is strictly prohibited.  Gas Grills and tanks are provided for communal use between our Lakeside and Lakefront cottage guests.  Grills are positioned specifically to be within our local fire code and for the safety of all our guests.  Guests are not permitted to use their own portable grills within the cottages or on the cottage decks.

Boat Launch/ Boat & Trailer parking/ Boat Dock Usage

We do not have a launch available at Single Island Shores.  Smith Park, which is only 2 miles down the road has an area for a boat launch, along with Lodi State Park.  We have overflow parking on the upper portion of our property.  Boats and/or trailers MUST be parked here.  Please Note:  There is not enough of a turn radius to take trailers into cottage areas. Guests may use the boat dock for temporary tie-offs only, in order to pick-up or drop-off passengers.  Boats cannot be anchored at dock over night.  The boat lift is for owner-use only.

Quiet Hours

We ask our guests to be respectful of other guests in cottages nearby along with our neighboring residential area.  We have designated the time between 11:00p.m. – 7:00a.m. to be Quiet Hours.
